This is a Wolverine piece I did for Marvel last year, not sure if and where they used it. It also appears in the newest edition of the Spectrum art annual (#16).
I really like how you drew Wolverine in this picture, with the red tint all around him showing that he is infact a very powerful and bloody character, the style is also very rough in certain places which works very well with how his character is supposed to be. Wolverine's pose also gives him that attitude he has, you cannot imagine Wolverine sitting on a chair like a little girl because he just isnt.
I also like how you drew Wolverine, his horn/mask is longer than it is (I believe) and it works! Makes him look like a devil. I also like how his claw is just hanging there as well, I remember seeing Wolverine in the X-men movies and you see posters of him posing with his claw... For me that is just not Wolverine, I am sure Wolverine does not like posing for the camera, I am sure if he sees someone taking a picture of him he would probably chop the camera into pieces. So drawing him in a 'non posing' pose is the way to go and you nailed it. Good work!
I think the texturing of your landscape is great. The shading and painting within the muscles is also very nice. However, there were a couple things I noticed that you might consider. While this expression is very typical of Wolverine, I don't think it matches his posture. His eyes and nose are fine, but his mouth seems a little too intense. I think this would be a good face if he was holding a guy by his shirt collar about four inches from his face and yelling "TELL ME WHERE FAT TONY'S HIDEOUT IS!!!" (only x-men related and not mob boss related). Secondly, the foreshortening of the arms is off. I'm not even sure who you would fix it, but they seem like they are little stubby arms.
