Another concept art piece from Darkwatch from a few years ago, copyright Vivendi/High Moon Studios. I don't remember the specifics of this piece, other than we wanted to have something to send to magazines and hype up the game.
This won a bronze award from the Society of Illustrators LA.
Really a nice bit. I really love setting, lighting and dynamics. Nevertheles one thing bugs me: The briddle, bit and reigns of the horse - especially the reigns - are seriously wrong. I can't help it, it just sticks out (the angles are wrong and the reign on the left of the horse - the right one from viewpoint) ends up either in the horses teeth, in it's neck or entirely on the wrong side of it's neck but nowhere near from were it should be. I know, that's not much in the overall of the picture and probably a futile remark anyway on a horror/phantastic-piece - but it's like an itch. Hope you don't mind my criticism. Have a nice weekend!
